Keeping Christmas

Available for Kindle, the free Kindle app, Kindle Unlimited, as well as in print here: Amazon

Keeping Christmas is a standalone novel inspired by the Christmas song "Good King Wenceslas."

On her way home for a Christmas full of Norwegian traditions, Paige Sorensen is pulled over by the county sheriff in the small town of Higgins. The town’s annual Christmas dinner is in danger of being canceled, so the judge sentences Paige to community service, putting her experience as a caterer to good use.

The one thing she doesn’t count on is working with Wes—a good-looking deputy who can’t stand the holiday season. He makes sure the less fortunate have a merry Christmas, but the secrets behind his eyes say he may never celebrate it in his heart.

Paige fears being stuck in Higgins will ruin her family holiday, but as she helps others, she begins to discover what Christmas—and love—truly mean.

The Plus One

Available for Kindle, the free Kindle app, Kindle Unlimited, and will shortly be in print. Amazon

The Plus One  is a standalone companion novel to Keeping Christmas

After selling the inn she inherited from her grandmother, Rachel DeWitt moves to Kansas City to put her past behind her and realize her dream of going to art school. While at a celebratory dinner out alone, she meets Braden Easton, and due to her quick thinking, she rescues him from a terrible first date.

Rachel has sworn off romance for the foreseeable future—even if Braden’s British accent makes her swoon. So when Braden presents a plan to be each other’s “plus one” as needed, Rachel agrees. Before long, the two are spending a good deal of time together, and Rachel wonders why she hasn’t tried this friendship-dating thing before. But what she doesn’t know is that Braden has a secret that could threaten their arrangement and change both of their lives in ways neither one has ever imagined.
