What's Up? Wednesday #2 Them's Writin' Words: The Importance of Receiving Critique

Hello! We're a little late tonight, but I'm squeaking this under the wire here in MDT. I had some issues with my computer, but it seems to be working now.

This WUW is a little longer than last time because I'm talking about how it feels to take critique when you might be slightly terrified. :) This applies to anything you might need help with, not just writing. I didn't want to go longer than this, and I know I only mentioned a couple of people I talked to today, but there were actually four I discussed some changes with after the one person made her brilliant suggestion. She also made other brilliant suggestions, but talking details about plots of books you haven't read would probably bore you. I'm also going to chop some off of the end. Of the book. Not my hair. Well, not for a week or two. But guess what? I may reveal those chopped-off parts on the site later on, as deleted scenes. Again, not my hair, because that would just be weird.

Sorry you're kind of all up in my grill with this slightly shaky camerawork. I'm learning. But if I wait until I can do it perfectly, it'll never happen!
